Our professionals
Wade Lin is a seasoned patent practitioner in Taiwan, qualified to practice in China and the United States. His practice focuses on helping clients protect their innovations, with particular expertise in patent portfolio management and global patent strategy. Wade brings experience from both law firm and in-house corporate practice. He has also assisted patent owners in enforcing their rights, including representing Pfizer in the Viagra patent litigations in Taiwan.
Before founding W&A Intellectual Property Law, Wade worked for a California-based biotech company, where he managed the patent portfolio for proprietary microfluidic technologies applied to immunology and synthetic biology. He gained first-hand experience in aligning patent and trade secret protection with the company’s immediate needs, future technology development, and business strategy. He also spent ten years at Formosa Transnational, Attorneys at Law, one of Taiwan’s largest law firms, where he gained extensive experience in drafting, prosecuting, and litigating patents for leading biotech companies and research institutes.”
Wade is frequently invited to introduce patent concepts and legal frameworks to clients, and he remains active in patent practitioner communities.
